 Pain That Keeps Coming Back

You've tried rest, stretching, and over-the-counter solutions, but the pain always returns. Nothing seems to provide lasting relief.

Cookie-cutter approaches only mask your symptoms temporarily. You need a personalized plan that addresses what's actually causing your pain.

 Fear You'll Never Recover

"I've been working with Tyler for a running gait assessment, and it became clear that I wasn't using my glutes properly and had super tight hips—both contributing to the back pain I've dealt with over 20 years. Since then, we've had several sessions incorporating strength work, dry needling, e-stim, and cupping. I've noticed a huge improvement in my awareness and movement. I'm finally using the right muscles, and my back is feeling better for it."

"I have had aggravating back pain that has been lingering for far too long. Thankfully I met Dr. Tyler Pollock at an injury screening at my gym. He showed me that my injury has led to weakness and mobility issues that I have honestly just lived with. He promised me that he could help, and he really has. I have been seeing him for almost a year, and I can see an improvement."

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about back pain physical therapy in Centennial? We've got answers.

How long does back pain physical therapy take?

Treatment length varies based on the severity and duration of your back pain. Many patients notice significant improvement within 4-6 sessions, while chronic back pain that's lasted months or years may require 8-12 sessions for lasting results. During your initial evaluation, we'll provide a personalized treatment timeline based on your specific condition and goals.

Do I need a doctor's referral for back pain physical therapy in Colorado?

No, Colorado is a direct access state, which means you can see a physical therapist without a doctor's referral. However, we recommend checking with your insurance provider, as some plans may require a referral for coverage. Our team can help you navigate insurance questions during your free consultation.

What treatments do you use for back pain?

We use a comprehensive approach that includes advanced manual therapy techniques such as dry needling, spinal manipulation, Active Release Technique (ART), and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). We also incorporate personalized strengthening exercises, movement re-education, and postural correction to address the root cause of your back pain and prevent future episodes.

 What causes chronic back pain?

Chronic back pain can result from multiple factors including muscle imbalances, poor movement patterns, previous injuries, prolonged sitting or desk work, weak core stability, tight hip flexors, or underlying conditions like disc issues or SI joint dysfunction. During your comprehensive evaluation, we'll identify the specific contributing factors to your back pain and create a targeted treatment plan.
